Northern Trauma Consulting has worked with the orthopaedic industry for more than a decade, providing clinical consultancy, professional education and strategic support to implant manufacturers and healthcare technology companies. Our practice is dedicated to orthopaedic trauma and limb reconstruction, allowing us to deliver authoritative education across the full spectrum of fracture management, implant technology and contemporary trauma care.
We develop tailored educational programmes for clinical specialists, sales teams and commercial leaders, helping them gain a deeper understanding of injury patterns, fracture biology, surgical decision-making and the clinical application of implant systems. Our aim is to bridge the gap between engineering, product development and real-world orthopaedic practice, enabling teams to engage confidently and credibly with surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Training can be delivered through intensive face-to-face workshops, conference-based education or our established virtual coaching programme. Regular online sessions provide a flexible and cost-effective model for continuous professional development, allowing clinical specialists to remain customer-facing while building their technical knowledge, clinical confidence and understanding of the evidence supporting implant technology.
Beyond education, Northern Trauma Consulting provides consultancy in product evaluation, research and development, post-market clinical evaluation, regulatory assessment, key opinion leadership and independent clinical advice. We have supported manufacturers through implant evaluation, Conformité Européenne (CE) marking programmes and expert review of complex clinical and medicolegal matters.
